Because of the success I have created in my home business by being a mentor to lot's of other people, I've been able to give my son the opportunity to play Level 1 tennis at the Austin Tennis Academy. One cold winter day I was going to pick him up at 7:05 AM from his morning work out before school.

Here I was in my PJ's, cozy slippers and warm parka! It was 33 degrees outside and I noticed a working mom with her little three year old daughter putting her into the car getting ready for the morning commute! I'll never forget the look on that little girl's face. She must have thought that lady looked really funny wearing her jammies outside! The mommy didn't look to happy!

I thought dang I'm sure glad that's not me!! It's been quite awhile since I've had to get up this early and even see the morning commuters and listen on the radio to all the traffic jams!

My son was three when I started my online business from home and I'm so glad that I stuck with it through all the ups and downs. Has it been worth it? Absolutely! He would not have the opportunity to play tennis here in Austin if I had given up all those many years ago! He's fifteen now!

Today I have my own successful home business in the gourmet candle industry where my income has surpassed my professional land surveyor husbands income and I'm helping mentor many people who are also achieving their dreams.
