"I spent my whole life either owning or managing small businesses. I was always very successful at it. The bad thing was however, I never had any piece of mind. There always seemed to be struggles and problems and more struggles and more problems. That just seemed to be the way business is.

I'm Martin Roberts and along with my wife Tina we'd like to say a big hello and welcome to Our Story.

I currently work full time in Medical sales for a large multi national company. I'm originally from the United Kingdom, and Tina is from Alabama USA. I transferred within my company to the US operation and obtained a position in Nashville, Tennessee two and a half years ago. Before that, we lived in Scotland but Tina was missing the comforts of home and I was keen to start a new life in the US.

I first started in Network Marketing in the early 80's with a nutritional company and built a successful team. Eventually however I moved on to several other companies and never really found not only the right product, but the right company.

That all changed with a conference call one night talking to Charles Umphred and a phone call with Sue Seward a day later. I was convinced prior to listening to Charlie and Sue that candles were bought in their hundreds if not thousands every day of the year.

In fact, Tina and I even embarked on making our own soy candles which also told me once I received my first candle from this company that we were dealing with a quality product. I know from first hand experience that making a candle isn't as easy as it sounds. Scent throw, consistency, air holes, discoloration, you name it Tina and I have seen it, so when we saw this candle product, we knew we had a top quality product in our hands.
